How stupid did she feel right now? Pretty stupid. Why would she think that he would drive her all the way here to just make her sit in the car? Idiot. Riley was mentally smacking herself for that. But she just couldn't seem to think straight around Cameron. Thinking... just wasn't an option with him. She watched as he got out and was about to open the door, when it was opened for her and she was being pulled out gently. Too bad she couldn't get a thank you in before he was kissing her. But... she figured that it could wait for some other time. She'd take his kisses anytime.

Walking a few steps behind him as he held her hand, she looked up when she heard his stomach growl and bit back a small laugh. Guys always did seem to be hungry at the weirdest times. But for all she knew, he hadn't eaten all day. When he offered something for her, she didn't know what to do. He had already paid three thousand dollars to bring her here, should she take food from him too? Struggling on an answer, she quickly shook her head, deciding that she had taken way too much from him today. Instead, she leaned against the counter and prayed to god she didn't scuff anything in his house. With her luck and it would be something that couldn't be replaced.

Riley smiled as he hugged her and brought her over to the fridge. She was slightly confused as to why he was trying to feed her all of a sudden, but she wasn't going to interrupt him. Something about the way he gave her attention made her want more of it. There was nothing else she found more addicting. Well... maybe some things but that was besides the point right now.

Leaning back into him as he showed her the inside of his fridge, she could only laugh and shake her head at him. "You've done more than enough for me today." she said, resting her head on his shoulder. Sure, she was hungry, but the last thing she wanted to do was take food from him. She doubted that he had anything she would like anyway. She was a very picky eater... when she did eat anyway.

She listened to him talk but barely heard his words. Being this close to him still had it affects on her and she was way to far into her own land to comprehend what he said. Feeling her feet moving beneath her, she snapped back to reality and founf him asking her what her thoughts were. Thoughts on what? Looking back into the kitchen, she thought for a moment before she looked up at him curiously. Oh! Wait. Now she understood.

Good question. What did she want to do? Well... all she could think of was the job that she would have to go to tonight. All those men, all those eyes. She wanted nothing more than to just lie in bed next to Cam. So that's what she intended on doing. Taking his hand, she pulled him up the stairs and down the hallway to his room. Riley was surprised that she remembered where it was, but she was glad she did as soon as she bounced down onto his bed. Ahh, comfort.

Riley smiled as Cameron laid next to her and swiftly got as close as she could. She didn't ever want to be farther than a ten mile radius from him. Everything was too cold, too dark without him near. Knowing that she only had three hours until she had to leave, her grip became tighter on him, a small sense of urgency willing him closer, even though there was no possible way for that to happen. She knew nothing would ever be the way she wanted it for long. Snuggling her head under his chin, she sighed in content. The words 'I love you' drifted out before she could think them in her head, but she knew she didn't care.

Thoughts of work made her insides churned and she knew that going back to the alley would be equivalent to signing her own death certificate. Biting her bottom lip as she thought, she moved her head slightly and looked up at him, curiosity in her eyes. "Can I stay the night? When I get off from the club?" she asked quietly. It was a long shot, but she was praying with all her might that his answer would be yes.

A feeling of relief immediately washed over her as he answered positvely. Thank Merlin. Spending a night with him would be worth anything in the world right now. Riley's breath caught in her throat as his thumb traced itself over her cheek and she subconciously moved towards it, wanting the feeling to stay. The urge to behave was becoming more and more hard to obey. All she wanted to do was love him, show him how much he meant to her, just in case he had forgotten. Her breathing quickened slightly at the thought as she caught his wrist with her hand, stopping it from going back to his side.

But she found that she was questioning herself. There would always be something in the back of her mind telling her that someone, somewhere was going to take him away from her. It might even be himself that would eventually push her out of his life. She whimpered, not realizing that the sound came from her as she urgently tossed his arm over her side, digging her head furiously into his chest. The way he felt and smelled, she didn't want to forget. "Don't go. Don't leave. Stay. Always stay." she muttered, not registering that he could probably hear her. Riley didn't care. She just wanted to feel his presence around her always.

It helped a little to know that he was going to stay with her, but the feeling of uneasiness didn't leave her. There was always that chance. If for even one minute she closed her eyes, he could disappear. He had already proved to move faster than she could think. Riley tried her best to make herself feel calm, but it just wouldn't happen. She was pretty sure that he would be feeling the hot wetness of her tears through his shirt.

Cameron just wasn't in her luck. Something was bound to go wrong. Why couldn't he see that? Someone would find out and rip them apart. It was going to happen. She could feel it. His parents would send him away to some foreign country and leave her here to fend for herself with the Bloods again. In no way was she prepared for that. She could feel herself hyperventalating, but didn't stop her thoughts or her tears long enough for her to breath.

Cameron urging her to calm down didn't seem to be enough but she choked back her tears and tried to calm her breathing. She looked up at him when her head was pulled up and she couldn't help but blink in fascination. Why was he even wasting his time? He could have anyone he wanted, so why was he here with her? It just didn't make sense to her, but she knew better than to push her luck.

But there was still that chance. "Cameron, someone is going to take us away from each other. Your parents, anyone in your family, your friends, the bloods. People will stop at nothing." she mumbled, still holding back the tears. If it made him unhappy to see her crying, then she would do her best to stop.

The way he spoke made her think that he knew their time was limited. Like he knew someone was going to tear them apart. And he would go willingly? She couldn't be sure. But that's the way it sounded. As he effortlessly brought her onto his lap, she bit her bottom lip as she fought with herself to think rationally.

Far, far away was where she wanted to go. Just away. But that wasn't an option. Riley didn't want to pull him away from his family. She knew in the back of her mind that the Bloods wouldn't take her leaving so easily. They'd probably track her or something. Furrowing her eyebrows in frustration, she sighed and leaned her head against his big shoulder. What else could she possibly do? He seemed so sure of everything that she couldn't argue.
